Problems solved by technology

Reducing the thickness of the resistive skin to reduce the diameter of the hole is only feasible up to 0.6 mm in the prior art, because otherwise obtained resistive skins are not mechanically strong enough

Embodiment Construction

[0051] It should be noted that, for the sake of clarity, the ratios between the different dimensions of the elements shown have not been reproduced exactly in any of the figures. In particular, figure 2 The curvature of the mid-panel section is exaggerated (the ratio between this curvature and the panel thickness is not accurately reproduced). Similarly, image 3 with Figure 4 The ratios between the length, width, and thickness of the panels or of the ribs, grooves, and any reinforcing strips shown in are not accurately reproduced.

[0052] Acoustic panels according to the invention (such as figure 2 with Figure 4 The acoustic panel shown in ) comprises a resistive skin 1 , a core 2 with a honeycomb structure, and an optional rear skin 3 . The resistant skin 1 has a castellated rear surface 12 with alternating grooves 13 and ribs 14 and a "smooth" front face 11, ie no steps or shoulders or grooves or other deformations / depressions or rough (except for noise absorbing...

Abstract

The present invention relates to an acoustic panel for an aircraft nacelle air intake, to an aircraft propulsion unit equipped with such an acoustic panel for a nacelle air intake, and to an aircraftcomprising such a propulsion unit. The acoustic panel comprises a resistive skin 1 perforated by noise absorption holes 10 and a core 2 against which the resistive skin extends, characterized in thatthe resistive skin 1 has a smooth visible face 11 and a castellated rear face 12 with alternating ribs 14 and grooves 13. The noise absorption holes 10 are formed exclusively in the grooves 13, i.e.,in a zone where the skin is less thick, which enables the holes to have a diameter that is both greater than the thickness of the skin and small enough not to have any impact on drag. The mechanical strength of the resistive skin provided by the ribs ensures that the lesser thickness of the resistive skin in the grooves does not render the resistive skin overly flexible.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an acoustic panel for an air intake of an aircraft nacelle, a propulsion unit, and an aircraft equipped with such an acoustic panel. Background technique [0002] Conventionally, the nacelle consists, from front to rear, of a first section upstream of the aerodynamic flow (called the air intake), a second section of the casing covering the engine fan (called the fan shroud), and a section downstream of the aerodynamic flow. A third section, which generally has a thrust reversal region surrounding the turbine body of the engine. [0003] as attached figure 1 As illustrated in , the air intake typically includes structural elements such as a front frame 101 and a rear frame 104, and a lip 100 carried on the front frame 101 (from the front to the rear of the nacelle), in short An outer panel 102 extending the lip outside the nacelle, an inner acoustic panel 103 extending the lip inside the nacelle, these inner acoustic panels fo...
