Abstract

The sending method comprises the steps that a first access point receives channel information from a second access point, wherein the channel information indicates that a working channel of the second access point is a first channel, the second access point checks whether a CAC is successful for channel availability of the first channel, and the first channel is a dynamic frequency selection DFS channel; a first access point transmits, on a second channel, a WLAN frame to a station associated with the firstaccess point, wherein the WLAN frame includes an indication of the first channel and an indication of whether a CAC of the first channel by the second access point is successful. According to the method, the first access point sends the indication of whether the CAC is successful or not to the station associated with the first access point, so that the station is switched to the DFS channel wherethe second access point is located only when determining that the CAC of the second access point is successfully completed, thereby ensuring the success rate of scanning the switched DFS channel by the station.
