Abstract

The invention discloses an amplification primer of a local chicken mitochondrion COI gene, and belongs to the field of COI gene amplification primers, wherein the sequences of the primer comprise: COI-F: 5'-CTTTAGCCGGCAACCTAGCC-3', and COI-R: 5'-GACGTGCCTCCTTGTTAATT-3'. According to the invention, a pair of primers COI-F and COI-R for amplifying the COI sequence of the mitochondrial part of the local native chicken is screened out, a reaction system and PCR amplification conditions of the primers are determined, and experiments prove that the primers have the characteristic of good specificity, can meet the needs of research on genetic diversity of the local native chicken, and can provide reliable molecular technical guidance for germplasm resource protection, development and utilization.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of amplification primers, in particular to an amplification primer for local native chicken mitochondrial COI gene. Background technique [0002] Chickens are one of the most popular and widespread poultry species, providing a large amount of animal protein (meat and eggs) to humans around the world. In addition, chickens also play an important role in sociocultural and biomedical research. Native chickens are a valuable genetic resource, and their high adaptability to the local environment enables them to survive well. [0003] Endemic chickens have great genetic diversity due to worldwide selection and domestication. Genetic diversity within a species can improve adaptation to harsh environments and resistance to disease. There is no doubt that reducing the genetic diversity of native chickens is a loss of valuable genetic resources. Local native chicken populations can also add to the existing genetic diversity...
