Abstract

An embodiment of the invention discloses a communication method, a first STA (Station), a second STA and an AP (Access Point). The method comprises the following steps that: the first STA determines a first basic service set (BSS) color; when the first station STA and the second STA perform device-to-device (D2D) transmission, the first STA generates a data frame, wherein the data frame comprises the first BSS color; and the first STA sends the data frame to the second STA. The first BSS color is borne in a D2D data frame, so that when other receiving stations in the BSS to which the first STA and the second STA belong receive the data frame, and the frame can be judged to be a frame from a neighbor cell. Therefore, on one hand, the problem that the non-HE AP cannot set the BSS color of the HE STA in a non-HE AP scene is solved; and on the other hand, under the HE AP scene, spatial multiplexing can be enhanced, and the system efficiency and throughput can be improved.
