The embodiment of the invention provides a frequency sweep broadband signal generation system and a frequency sweep broadband signal generation method. The frequency sweep broadband signal generation system comprises a first laser used for generating a first laser signal, a backward Rayleigh scattering structure which is used for generating a backward Rayleigh scattering signal, a positive feedback loop structure which is used for generating an optical carrier signal and a second laser signal comprising a plurality of optical sidebands, an optical filter which is used for filtering an optical sideband included in the second laser signal to obtain a filtered second laser signal comprising an optical sideband, a first optical coupler which is used for processing the first laser signal and the filtered second laser signal to obtain a first coupled optical signal, and a first photoelectric detector which is used for performing beat frequency processing on the first coupling optical signal to obtain a target frequency sweep broadband signal.
