The sensing circuit includes an input and an output operably coupled with the input, wherein the input is adapted to be connected to an electric power line and connected in series between a load and a shunt circuit, theshunt circuitbridges the electric power line between a power source and the load, the output is adapted to provide a signal (Vs) related to an electromagnetic interference signal (Vn) generated by or at the load and arranged to be experienced by the shunt circuit, and the signal (Vs) may be used to determine a suppression signal (Vn') to reduce or substantially eliminate an electromagnetic interference signal (Vn).
