However, certain techniques for joining multiple sheets may leave unwelded portions at the edges of the welded joint. It should be understood that the systems and methods may leave a portion of insufficiently bonded material when bonded by certain processes. For example, the weld area is different compared to the rest of the seam using plunge-retract welding. According to various techniques described herein, end welding techniques and systems are used to complete the welding of a length of joint. In certain other embodiments, the refill spot welding process may be applied at multiple locations along the length of the joint to bring the sheets together.
