Abstract

The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a hair dye composition containing an oxidation dye, which is less in skin pollution, excellent in hair dyeing power and excellent in emulsion stability. In order to achieve the purpose, the hair dye composition provided by the invention is an emulsified composition containing an oily component; the present invention is characterized by containing: (A) 1-10 mass% of ascorbic acid, erythorbic acid, or salts or esters thereof; and (B) an oxidation dye comprising a sulfate of a compound represented by general formula (1). In general formula (1), R represents a linear or branched alkyl group having 1-6 carbon atoms, a linear or branched mono-or polyhydroxyalkyl group having 2-6 carbon atoms, or a linear or branched mono-or polyaminoalkyl group. Therefore, the hair dye composition with little skin pollution, excellent hair dyeing power and excellent emulsion stability can be obtained.
