Abstract

The invention provides a fault diagnosis method and device for mechanical equipment and a terminal. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a vibration signal of mechanical equipment; acquiring a vibration signal of the mechanical equipment; performing empirical mode decomposition on the vibration signal to obtain a plurality of IMF components of the vibration signal; respectively calculating the K-L divergence value of each IMF component and the vibration signal; performing clustering analysis on each K-L divergence value to obtain two clusters; comparing the sizes of the two clusters based on a K-L divergence value, and taking the IMF component in the larger cluster as a false IMF component; removing a false IMF component in the IMF components of the vibration signal to obtain a real IMF component of the vibration signal; and inputting each real IMF component into the target fault diagnosis model to obtain a fault diagnosis result of the mechanical equipment.
