Abstract

The invention discloses a multi-polarized light point cloud data fusion method and device for a steel rail appearance state. The method comprises the following steps: merging read polarization camera data into steel rail profile data; dividing the steel rail profile data into a plurality of areas according to the rail vertex coordinates and the rail gauge point coordinates; fitting the steel rail profile data of the plurality of areas by using a random sampling consensus RANSAC algorithm to obtain fitting curves of the plurality of areas; performing curve fusion on the fitting curves of the plurality of areas to obtain an optimal steel rail profile fitting curve; and carrying out steel rail profile measurement by utilizing the optimal steel rail profile fitting curve. The method effectively solves the problem of local underexposure of the laser section of the steel rail.
