The invention provides a method, a device, a system and a computer readable storage medium for evaluating nephropathy risk. The device comprises a processor; and the memory stores a program instruction for evaluating the nephropathy risk, and when the program instruction is run by the processor, the device executes the following operations: acquiring an eye fundus image of which the nephropathy risk is to be evaluated; and inputting the fundus image into a nephropathy risk prediction model to determine a nephropathy risk level reflected by the fundus image, the nephropathy risk prediction model being constructed based on a deep learning neural network model and being obtained by training the fundus image for training and the corresponding serum creatinine estimation glomerular filtration rate.
