Abstract

The invention provides a power system scheduling method based on a genetic algorithm. The method is used for solving the problem that a centralized control method cannot meet the scale requirement of an existing power grid. The method comprises the following steps: establishing an electric power system economic dispatching model according to an optimization problem of electric power system economic dispatching; performing element reduction processing on the target function and the motor node active power output constraint equation by using the active power balance equation to obtain a new economic dispatching model after element reduction; and solving the new economic dispatching model by using a genetic algorithm, and realizing active power supply and demand balance while satisfying each motor node constraint equation, so that an obtained optimal value is an optimal dispatching scheme. According to the method, a plurality of individuals in a group can be processed at the same time by utilizing the genetic algorithm, a plurality of solutions in a search space are evaluated, and the risk of falling into a local optimal solution is reduced; the globally optimal solution meeting the set conditions can be quickly obtained, the operation cost of the power system is saved, and a new calculation method is provided for economic dispatching of the power system.
