Abstract

An apparatus and method for establishing a stabilizable operating point of an H-bridge with a center shunt switch. A stable operating point enables a circuit connected to the H-bridge output to operate under more desirable conditions. As a result, the H-bridge with a stabilizable operating point will result in higher performance and / or energy savings. Since the common mode is one of the maximum electromagnetic interference sources, a stable operating point in the H-bridge also suppresses EMI.
