Abstract

The invention discloses a computing device with a reconfigurable architecture and a reconfiguration method of the computing device. The computing device comprises a CPU node, an IO node, a PCIe switching node and an Ethernet switching node. Wherein the PCIe switching node is used for interconnection between the CPU and PCIe equipment, and the Ethernet switching node is used for configuration management. The method comprises the following steps: applying for a CPU node and an IO node; the PCIe equipment is initialized; establishing equipment configuration space mapping; the CPU discovers a new device and allocates a device address space; establishing equipment address space mapping; establishing mapping between the PCIe equipment interrupt vector and the CPU interrupt vector table; and loading an equipment driving program. The interconnection relation between the CPU and the PCIe equipment is set through the interconnection system, the method is transparent to an instruction set of the CPU and a running operation system, extra management software does not need to be developed, and all the CPUs and the operation systems which can be connected with the PCIe equipment are supported.
