Abstract

The present invention relates to optionally substituted 1, 3-dimethoxypropane and 3-methoxypropylamine, and more particularly to their use as internal donors in Ziegler-Natta catalysts to obtain polymers with desired properties. The present invention also relates to a Ziegler-Natta catalyst component comprising said optionally substituted 1, 3-dimethoxypropane and 3-methoxypropylamine, a Ziegler-Natta catalyst comprising said Ziegler-Natta catalyst component for the polymerization of olefins, as well as a process for their preparation and their use in providing polyolefins.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to optionally substituted 1,3-dimethoxypropane, more particularly to the use of 1,3-dimethoxypropane and 3-methoxypropylamine, said 1,3-dimethoxypropane Propane and 3-methoxypropylamine are used as internal donors in Ziegler-Natta catalysts to obtain polymers with desired properties, especially in terms of molecular weight distribution (MWD) and chemical composition distribution (CCD) . The present invention also relates to a Ziegler-Natta catalyst component comprising said optionally substituted 1,3-dimethoxypropane and 3-methoxypropylamine, said Ziegler-Natta catalyst component comprising said Ziegler-Natta catalysts for olefin polymerization, processes for their preparation and their use in providing polyolefins. Background technique [0002] Ziegler-Natta (ZN) type polyolefin catalysts are well known in the art of producing polyolefins such as ethylene (co)polymers. Typically, the catalyst contains at least a transi...
