Embodiment Construction

[0021] Scientific research in recent years has shown that the pressure measurement of esophageal varices has a high accuracy in predicting the rupture and bleeding of esophageal varices. According to Laplace's law of fluid mechanics: T = P 1 - P 2 t R , where T is the vessel wall tension, P 1 is the intravascular pressure, P 2 is the external pressure of the blood vessel, t is the thickness of the blood vessel, and R is the radius of the blood vessel. Increased intravascular pressure is the initiating factor. The higher the intravascular pressure, the larger the blood vessel, the larger the caliber, the thinner the blood vessel, and the greater the tension of the blood vessel. When the tension increases beyond 15mmHg, the vessel wall will rupture and massive bleeding will occur. T...

Abstract

A method and equipment for measuring the esophageal varicose vein pressure without wound is disclosed. Said equipment is composed of air channel including air pump, air sensitive probe connected to capillary tube via guide tube, circuit unit consisting of amplifier and A/D converter, and data processing unit consisting of computer and display. Said method features that the vein pressure is sensed by air sensitive probe and then transmitted via sensor to amplifier, A/D converter and computer sequentially. The result is displayed in waveform and numerals modes. Its advantages are simple method and high correctness.

Description

Technical field: [0001] The invention relates to the medical field, in particular to a measuring method capable of measuring esophageal varicose vein pressure and a device designed according to the method. Background technique: [0002] Bleeding of esophageal varices is the most dangerous complication in patients with cirrhosis and portal hypertension. About one-third of patients will eventually suffer from bleeding without any symptoms except bleeding. If one-third of bleeding patients can be identified and preventive treatment can be carried out as soon as possible, medical costs and risks of treatment can be reduced. In the past, the prediction was based on the observation of the morphological characteristics of esophageal varices under the gastroscope and combined with other clinical indicators for comprehensive evaluation, but the prediction accuracy did not exceed 40%. The pressure measurement of esophageal varices has been paid more and more attention in recent years...
