Abstract

The present application discloses a system and method for duplicating and transmitting telephone conversations, that is, a system and method for duplicating and transmitting telephone records during a conference call. Users can forward a portion of the recording to a third party during a conference call. The user issues commands using the telephone device indicating the beginning and end (optional) of the portion to be sent. User provides recipient information, such as an email message. The user can issue these commands by voice or by sending data (eg text) by the user device. The commands may also be issued by software running on the user device. The user may choose to send the selected portion in audio format, text format, or both. Selected portions of recordings may be sent over the Internet using e-mail, instant messaging, FTP, or the like. The marked portion may also be transmitted via telephone, computer network, or the like.
