The invention relates to a trolley wire with high tensile-strength and electricity conductive rate and a manufacture method for the trolley wire which includes the following working procedures: obtaining casting material comprising 0.12to 0.3 weight percent of Ag, 0.01 to 0.05 percent weight of oxygen, copper and unavoidable impurities through continuous castling; carrying out thermal processing on the casting material with the temperature larger or equal to 600 DEG C and the thermal processing rate larger or equal to 80 percent to obtain a wire with the diameter larger or equal to 25mm; carrying out cold processing on the wire with the temperature less than or equal to 150 DEG C and the cold processing rate larger or equal to 70 percent to obtain the following trolley wire (1) or (2). When the nominal cross-sectional area of the trolley wire(1) is 150 to 170mm <2>, the tensile-strength is larger or equal to 400N / mm<2> and the electricity conductive rate is larger or equal to 97 IACS(percent); when the nominal cross-sectional area of the trolley wire(2) is 80 to 120 mm<2>, the tensile-strength is larger or equal to 420N / mm<2> and the electricity conductive rate is larger or equal to 97 IACS(percent).
