Abstract

A housing cover arrangement of a portable handheld work apparatus includes a releasable cover ( 1 ) and at least one spring clamp ( 2 ) for attaching the cover ( 1 ). The spring clamp ( 2 ) is pivotally held at one end ( 3 ) so it cannot separate and has an elastic latching spring lug ( 5 ) at its opposite-lying end ( 4 ). The spring clamp ( 2 ) is bent over to an approximately U-shaped section ( 6 ) at its pivot end ( 3 ). An open end ( 7 ) of the U-shaped section ( 6 ) is closed by an elastic plastic latch ( 8 ) while forming a pivot receptacle ( 9 ) for a pivot lug ( 10 ).
