The invention relates to a method for managing several disc memory arrays via exchanger or mange server, wherein it comprises: adding iSCSI steering engine on the Ethernet exchange or calculation server, adding the scanning and recognizing function on the iSCSI target terminal memory array of LUN, adding the DHCP calculation module function for managing the iSCSI target terminal memory array IP address, to form iSCSI exchanger or iSCSI manage server; via distributing the IP address of single iSCSI, connecting several iSCSI target memory arrays; separating the access and the connecting of iSCSI protocol; the IP address of each memory array is distributed by the exchanger with dyanamic host distribution protocol DHCP; with said invention, iSCSI manage server only inquires the iSCSI protocol. The invention can manage the maximum iSCSI target arrays supported by Ethernet exchanger, to reduce the complexity when expanding capacity and property of memory system, and reduce relative cost.
