Problems solved by technology

[0003] The problem with these printers is that after the cutting process the cut piece of paper remains in the output path, is pushed out of the output path by the subsequent paper piece and falls to the floor
Unsightly paper snakes can thus form in the working position

Embodiment Construction

[0017] figure 1 A perspective side view of the main part of the printer 10 according to the present invention is shown. Output channels 12 from one in figure 1 Printing stations not shown in the section below the one shown lead upwards. In the output channel 12 there is a continuous paper web 14 . A cutting device 16 is arranged in the output channel 12 . The device comprises a movable knife 18 perpendicular to the surface of the continuous paper web 14, which has a V-shaped cutting edge known per se from DE 3445744C1 at the front side of the continuous paper web 14 and a cutting beam 20 , it has a pairing blade 22 ( image 3 ).

[0018] Behind the output channel 12 there is a storage bucket 24 for paper sections 26 cut from the continuous paper web 14 ( Figure 4 ), the storage bucket is separated from the output channel 12 by the projection 28 protruding into the side edge of the output channel 12. Above the knife 18 and parallel to it, there is provided a paper feede...

Abstract

The coupon printer, for sections (26) cut from a continuous paper strip (14), has a V-shaped blade (18) and a laying compartment (24) behind a delivery channel (12) for the cut sections. Side projections (28) separate them from the channel. A push unit (30) moves the separated edges of the cut paper strip sections between the projections into the laying compartment during the cutting action.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a ticket printer (Bondrucker) with a storage device for paper sections cut from a continuous paper web. Background technique [0002] Receipt printers are known which have a cutting device and an output channel for cut-off paper sections from a continuous paper strip, wherein the cutting device first cuts the continuous paper strip from the side edges and then cuts off, For this purpose, a knife movable perpendicular to the surface of the continuous paper web is provided, which has a V-shaped cutting edge on one side of the continuous paper web and a mating cutting edge on the other side of the continuous paper web. [0003] The problem with these printers is that after the cutting process the cut paper section remains in the output channel from which it is pushed out by the subsequent paper section and falls to the ground. [0004] It is therefore described in DE 3445744C1 that the paper web is not completely cut, so that the...
