Abstract

A textile is provided with an underlying layer of hook and loop fabric; and a jacquard surface layer formed integrally with the underlying layer of hook and loop fabric. No adhesive is used in the manufacturing processes so as to minimize impact to the environment. The textile is particularly for the manufacturing of shoes and head covering.

Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION[0001]1. Field of the Invention[0002]The invention relates to textile and more particularly to a textile including an underlying layer of hook and loop fabric and a jacquard surface layer formed integrally therewith without using adhesive in the manufacturing processes.[0003]2. Description of Related Art[0004]A conventional textile for the manufacturing of shoes is shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 and comprises an underlying layer of fabric C, an intermediate layer of foam B, and a jacquard surface layer A. These three layers are secured together by adhesive. However, the layers may disengage from one another after a period of time due to the nature of adhesive.[0005]A conventional textile of the manufacturing of head covering (e.g., helmet, hats, or caps) is shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 and comprises an underlying layer of fabric E and a surface layer of hook and loop fabric D. These two layers are secured together by adhesive. However, the layers may disengage from one ...
