Benefits of technology

The present invention relates to a hair brush cover that can be used to easily remove excess hair from a hair brush. The hair brush cover is made of a closed end and an elastic open end. The method involves rolling the cover from the open end to the closed end, threading the hair brush through the open end, and unrolling the open end from the closed end to cover the bristles of the hair brush. Combing the hair to capture any embedded hair within the bristles, the elastic open end of the cover is peeled off the hair brush to remove the cover and the captured hair. The technical effects of this invention are to provide a convenient and effective solution for removing excess hair from a hair brush, making the hair brush hygienic and clean.

Problems solved by technology

However, when sharing hairbrushes, it is common that a users' hair gets stuck and remains in the brush's bristles.
This situation can be unsanitary and can even spread germs or infestations such as lice between the various users.
Removing a prior user's hair from the brush's bristles can be a very time consuming and tedious task.
Additionally, if an individual uses a brush with another user's hair still in the bristles, that hair can then become intertwined in the new user's hair, which is undesirable.
