magnetic tape. The
servo pattern comprises a first servo stripe, a second servo stripe and a third servo stripe, wherein the first servo stripe is parallel to the third servo stripe, and the inclination angles of the servo stripes are small, so that the lateral dimension of the servo pattern can be reduced, and the
frame rate of the magnetic
tape drive can be increased, making the servo pattern suitable for a high-speed
scenario. In addition, servo position information can be acquired simply by means of three servo stripes, the number of repetitions of servo stripes is small, multiple instances of servo
peak detection are not required, and the calculation overhead is small, and the calculation speed is high, making the servo pattern suitable for fast calculation in the high-speed
scenario. Moreover, the trajectory of the second servo stripe is a curve, the curve has different slopes at different positions, and the smaller the slope at a position, the higher the accuracy of position calculation. Therefore, a smaller number of stripes can be used to achieve the same or better accuracy as conventional servos, thereby ensuring the calculation accuracy.
