To properly convert data without losing its continuity by interpolation from a plurality of output data even with respect to data on and along diagonal lines of a LUT wherein only output data corresponding to representative values of input data is stored.Cells of the LUT includes diagonal cells arranged on diagonal lines and a plurality of pairs of adjacent cells symmetrically arranged on both sides of the diagonal lines, and representative correction values meaning non-execution of data conversion are stored in the diagonal cells, and representative correction values stored in at least a pair of adjacent cells have mutually opposite polarities and are different in absolute values. When cells surrounding an address include at least a pair of adjacent cells, an interpolation circuit substitutes one of the representative correction values stored in the adjacent cells with a substitutional representative correction value having the opposite polarity and the same absolute value and then utilizes the substitutional representative correction value to generate conversion data.
