Abstract

The invention discloses a flash memory protection module and its shutdown method, used in an electronic device with a processor, including an input unit, a delay unit and a logic unit. The input unit provides a notification signal to the processor and the delay unit for notifying the processor to stop reading and writing to the flash memory, and notifying the delay unit to start counting. When the processor stops reading and writing operations or the delay unit counts to a preset shutdown time, the logic unit drives the electronic device to complete its shutdown operation.
