Abstract

The invention discloses a method to control congestion in flow control transmission. The method includes: sending end initiates the delay timer when T3 timer is overtime, a. judging said delay timer is overtime or not, if no then go to step b, else terminate the congestion control flow; b. sending end judges the network is congestion or not according to received selective affirmation message, if no then go step a; otherwise, the sending end turns down the control parameter of congestion to reduce the data signaling rate.
