Embodiment

[0035] Considering that the bicubic interpolation is decomposed into two one-dimensional interpolation in the row direction and the column direction, the operations in the row and column directions are consistent. Take the row direction as an example to illustrate:

[0036] Step 1: Set the threshold value table according to the brightness change. It is set that when the pixel value difference between two adjacent pixel points exceeds the preset threshold, it is determined that the two adjacent pixel points are on both sides of the edge of the real image, that is, the object edge in the digital image is between the two. According to the contrast sensitivity of the human eye to different brightnesses, in order to adapt to the ability of the human eye to distinguish edges under different brightnesses, different thresholds are used to judge the edge state between pixels of different brightnesses. This threshold table can be set empirically

[0037] Step 2: Determine the position...

Abstract

The invention relates to an image scaling method of margin self-adapting treatment, in particular to cubic spline interpolation algorithm. The technique problem needed to be resolved by the invention is to provide a self-adapting interpolation method based on cubic spline function with smooth image and clear outline after being interpolated. The technical scheme comprises detecting the position of interpolation points first and employing different treatment methods to interpolate to the interpolation points located at different positions. The invention adds edge sharpness, and simultaneously effectively eliminates problems that continuous feedbacks pixels on the bilateral sides of the image edge interfering with each other cause virtual images on bilateral sides of the edge in original cubic spline interpolation algorithm on the basis of guaranteeing image gliding property. Simultaneously, the invention employs the same operational formula to calculate all interpolation points, which enables the invention to be simple to realize, and is equal to the complexity of realizing common cubic spline function interpolation algorithm.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an image scaling method for edge adaptive processing, in particular to a cubic spline interpolation algorithm. technical background [0002] Image scaling is an indispensable part of modern digital image processing, and how to ensure the visual effect of the enlarged image is the key to its technology. [0003] Commonly used enlargement algorithms include nearest neighbor interpolation, bilinear interpolation, bicubic interpolation and so on. Nearest neighbor interpolation is the simplest interpolation algorithm, and the enlarged image is prone to mosaic or jagged phenomenon; bilinear interpolation (bilinear interpolation) greatly eliminates the jagged phenomenon, but it will degrade the high-frequency part of the image , resulting in image blurring; Bicubic Interpolation works best. [0004] The bicubic interpolation algorithm using the cubic spline function can further ensure the continuity of the output image for the conti...
