Abstract

A real-time three-dimensional image monitoring platform for city traffic signal control relates to intelligent control management of the city traffic. The monitoring data of the monitoring platform derives from a road traffic controller at each road junction; each of the road traffic controllers is provided with a processing database server correspondingly. A wireless local-area network communication interface is positioned on the road traffic controller, a displaying terminal and the road traffic controller forms a monitoring network; the displaying terminal is a computer system established on an operating system in which a traffic parameter monitoring software protocol packet is stored. The traffic signal controller monitors the traffic parameters through a monitor on the controller, transmits the parameters to the respective processing database server through a piece of data communication equipment and completes data processing and the creation of dynamic scenes under control of a display program. The real-time three-dimensional dynamic display of the platform has non-direct view, animation and good effect. The real-time three-dimensional image monitoring platform also effectively utilizes the valuable resources of the existing city road traffic controllers, and prompts the level and progress of high-tech technology management of city modernization.
