Abstract

A mixed color sequence control method for a backlight module and a display unit for the control method are disclosed. The control method provides a mixed color sequence algorithm to control the backlighting module of a RGB LBD to produce highly contrastive backlighting. Since a liquid crystal display panel and the backlight module of the LBD are controlled synchronously, the problems of color field separation effect and motion blur in conventional color sequence control method are avoided in the method of the invention, thus improving contrast ratio.
