The invention provides a method and a system used for rapidly loading and operating a program image in a multiprocessor system. the method comprises the steps as follows: starting an assistant processing program monitor being in an assistant processor and configured to monitoring notice from a main processor; invoking an operation assistant processing program function being in the main processor and configured to an assistant processing program image which is used for informing the assistant processing program monitor of operating, used as a part of the program image, and transmitted to the local memorizer of the assistant processor; and operating the assistant processing program image after the assistant processing program monitor receives the notice.
