Abstract

The invention discloses a method for determining an outer edge contour of mammary gland. The method comprises the following steps: (A1) performing binarization processing on data of a mammary gland image; (A2) computing a mass center of the mammary gland image; and (A3) performing region growing by taking the mass center of the mammary gland image as an initial point, wherein, the region covered is a mammary tissue region when the region growing is completed, thus determining the outer edge contour of the mammary gland. The method for determining the outer edge contour of the mammary gland can help accurately determine the outer edge contour of the mammary gland by such image processing technologies as extraction of the image mass center and the image binarization, the region growing and the like, and the method is a significant progress in the image processing technologies.
