Problems solved by technology

At this time, multiple cross-sectional shapes of the nozzle are formed between the inlet face and the outlet face, but it has the disadvantage that at least one diameter step that causes cross-sectional expansion or cross-sectional contraction must be eliminated

Embodiment Construction

[0031] exist figure 1 and 2 A first exemplary embodiment of the nozzle strip according to the invention is shown in several views. figure 1 This embodiment is shown in top view, while figure 2 The exemplary embodiment is then shown schematically in a cross-sectional partial view. The following description applies to both diagrams, as long as there is no explicit link to a diagram.

[0032] The nozzle strip 1 consists of a strip-shaped metal plate 2 which can extend over several meters depending on the working width of the device for reinforcing the fiber web. For example, when reinforcing nonwovens, working widths of several meters are achieved. At one end, the metal plate has a fixing hole 4 for handling, which can be used, for example, for fixing on the underside of the nozzle bar. In the middle region, the metal plate 2 is pierced by a plurality of nozzle openings 3 . The nozzle openings 3 are arranged side by side in rows and extend over the length of the working wi...

Abstract

The present invention relates to a nozzle bar for generating fluid beam when consolidating non-woven fabric. The nozzle has a metal plate, which exhibits a number of nozzle openings, which are arranged next to each other between an upper inlet surface and a lower outlet surface. The nozzle openings are formed by a nozzle hole, where the nozzle hole extends from the inlet surface to the outlet surface on the metal plate and is formed by a plurality of continuous transitional hole segments. In order to obtain a spraying beam with maxmium kinetic energy as accurate as possible, the nozzle hole of the invention has three boring sections, where the first boring section forms a capillary zone for bundling the fluid jet. The middle section forms an expansion zone for widening the fluid jet. The third section forms a discharge zone for guiding the fluid beam.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a nozzle strip according to the preamble of claim 1 for generating a fluid jet when consolidating a nonwoven. Background technique [0002] In the manufacture of nonwoven fabrics formed by stacking a plurality of fibers, it is known that the nonwoven fabric is consolidated during subsequent processing in order to increase the bonding of the fibers within the web. In addition to chemical fixation and thermocompression curing, mechanical fixation is used in particular, in which an additional medium is passed through the fiber web in order to entangle the fibers with one another. Recently, as a reinforcement method, the fluid beam needling process is particularly important. Here, a columnar fluid jet of water under high pressure is preferably generated, which impinges substantially perpendicularly on the fiber web and passes through it. At this time, the fluid beam causes the compaction and eddy current deformation of the fiber ...
