Abstract

The system comprises a computer to be tested connected with a service computer through a network, wherein the service computer comprises a first remote communication module and a target memory, the target memory stores a hardware detecting program and a configuration testing program; and the computer to be tested comprises a second remote communication module, a register and an executing module. The method comprises the following steps: downloading the hardware testing program in the service computer to the computer to be tested and running the hardware testing program to obtain a mainboard model and a detecting result of hardware configuration; and downloading a relevant configuration testing program to the computer to be tested according to the detecting result, running the relevant configuration testing program and passing back the result to the service computer. The relevant configuration testing program can be automatically downloaded according to different hardware configurations and the mainboard model by accessing the network, and artificial interfering errors do not exist.
