Abstract

The invention discloses a method and a system for quickly detecting connectivity of a link. The system comprises a network processor with a memory and a local terminal CPU. Link CFM protection is configured at a local terminal system and an opposite terminal system respectively, and sending and detecting periods of CCM message are set; the local terminal system and the opposite terminal system periodically send the CCM message carried with self MAId and MepId in each sending period respectively, and simultaneously detect the CCM message sent by an opposite terminal; the local terminal system or the opposite terminal system compares the attributes of the CCM message and a local configured remote terminal MEP, and adds 1 to the CCM message count of the opposite terminal if the attributes are consistent, otherwise adds 1 to the error message count; and whether the CCM message count of the opposite terminal exists in each detecting period is detected, the link is disconnected when the CCM message count is 0, and the link is connected when the CCM message count is more than 0.
