The invention provides a method for processing a safe key in reconnection of RRC (Radio Resource Control). The method comprises the steps of: receiving a request for the reconnection of radio resource control from user equipment by a node B; making a self-judgment on whether the node B is a source node B or a target node B and judging whether a new safe key for an access layer is required to be created or not by the node B; if the node B is judged to be a source node B and the request for the reconnection of the radio resource control is caused by a non-safety problem or that the count value of the next hop link saved locally is not zero, maintaining to use the original safe key for the access layer and the previous security configuration for local configuration; and sending a corresponding message for the reconnection of the radio resource control to the user equipment so that the user equipment can complete reconnection. In the method, a judging step is added in the creating processof the safe key for the access layer, and thus, the problem that new safe keys are created regardless of conditions in the traditional method, a plurality of procedures for creating and calculating the safe key are omitted, and the time delay of the system is reduced.
