Abstract

The invention discloses an object interactive combustion simulation method based on physics, which is characterized in that the method mainly comprises the following steps of: 1) adopting a hydrodynamic theory to draw flame; 2) simulating the spreading of the flame on an object; 3) stimulating the evolution of a combustion interface; and 4) simulating the object deformation caused by the combustion. The method calculates the deformation degree of a region according to the heating difference and the decomposition difference of a pair of FFD control vertexes mapped onto a cell by adopting the simulation based on gradient change for the spreading of the flame and utilizing a level set method to trace back the change of an object shape and realistically realizes the deformation effect when a three-dimensional object combusts, and vividly shows the interaction effect of the flame and the object during the combustion. The method provides a convenient and quick design tool for film and TV special effect producers, animation mentors and the like, can also be used for combustion simulation of objects in fire hazard, and has important significance on the suppression, rescue and evaluation of the fire hazard and the like.
