Problems solved by technology

In this way, a large amount of network bandwidth will be consumed during the transmission process, especially when the source data is large
Moreover, if there is a sudden network interruption, the transmitted data will be lost, and the copy data on other machines cannot be updated in time, resulting in inconsistency of each copy data
In addition, this inconsistency is exacerbated when there is a write operation on the replica data on the replica data host

Embodiment Construction

[0013] Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings showing embodiments of the invention. However, this invention may be embodied in many different forms and should not be construed as limited to the embodiments set forth herein.

[0014] A first embodiment of the present invention will now be described.

[0015] The data updating method according to the present invention is applied in a distributed system. In this embodiment, the distributed system includes at least a first node and a second node. The first node stores source data, and the second node stores copy data corresponding to the source data. It should be understood that the distributed system may also include multiple other nodes, for example, a third node and a fourth node that store replica data. The first node sends an update operation instruction related to the source data to the second node, and the second node locally updates the copy data o...

Abstract

The invention provides a data-updating method in a distributed system. The distributed system at least comprises a first node and a second node, wherein source data are stored in the first node; auxiliary data corresponding to the source data are stored on the second node; and the first node sends an updating operation instruction related to the source data to the second node which locally updates the auxiliary data according to the updating operation instruction so that the auxiliary data are updated to be consistent with the source data. The invention utilizes the characteristics of a movable agent to send the updating operation instruction to a receiving terminal by code migration while not sending data or files; the receiving terminal reconstructs migrated updating instruction codes on site and locally updates the auxiliary data. Accordingly, the data quantity to be transmitted is remarkably reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of distributed computing, and in particular relates to solving the problem of copy data consistency among multiple nodes in a distributed environment. Background technique [0002] Today, with the rapid development of the information industry, with the continuous expansion of scale and continuous updating of business, there is an urgent need for a complete distributed solution to manage complex heterogeneous environments and realize different hardware devices, software systems, network environments and databases. Complete integration between systems. [0003] In a distributed system, there are many ways to synchronize and update the data of each copy. However, in most methods, the source node propagates the updated source data to all other nodes that have replicas of the source data, and then overwrites the replica data locally. The whole process realizes the service of data transmission. [0004] In the prior art,...
