Abstract

The invention provides a method for transmitting a data in a wireless local area network and equipment thereof, wherein the method is applied to the wireless local area network which comprises at least one of access points APs; each AP transmits at least one of beacon frames; the beacon frame which is relative to the data to be transmitted is appointed; and a data information cell for carrying the data to be transmitted is defined in the appointed beacon frame. The method comprises the following step of: if the date to be transmitted is currently needed to be transmitted, and when the preset transmitting period of the beacon frame is reached, the data to be transmitted is carried in the data information cell in the appointed beacon frame to be transmitted. The invention reduces the complexity for transmitting the data in the network.
