The invention relates to a direct backlight module which comprises a frame, a plurality of light-emitting diodes, a diffusion plate and an optical plate, wherein the optical plate is arranged above the diffusion plate at intervals; the diffusion plate comprises a first surface and a second surface which is opposite to the first surface, and the second surface of the diffusion plate is close to thelight-emitting diodes; the optical plate comprises a transparent body which comprises a first surface and a second surface that is opposite to the first surface, and the second surface of the opticalplate is close to the light-emitting diodes; the first surface of the diffusion plate is a plane, and the diffusion plate comprises a plurality of long-strip V-shaped ridge structures which are formed at the second surface and extend along at least two different directions; and the optical plate comprises a plurality of parallel long-strip arc-shaped heaves which are formed on the first surface and a plurality of parallel long-strip arc-shaped grooves which are formed on the second surface. The direct-lighting backlight module has better exit ray uniformity and is suitable for thinned design.
