Embodiment Construction

[0059] With reference to the accompanying drawings in particular regarding Figure 3 to Figure 5 With the numbering adopted in , it is possible to see the platform 1 carrying the solar panels 2 and connected to a support structure 3 fixed to the ground.

[0060] figure 1 Schematically shows a platform 1 defined by its four vertices or its four fixed points in the vicinity of point "O", said platform 1 being able to rotate about point "O", which is located at a distance from the ground High "h".

[0061] The X, Y, and Z axes are local coordinate axes, where:

[0062] OX is an axis parallel to the ground surface pointing westward from the origin of coordinates O, which is the raised point of the ground as the apex of the rigid support structure against which the platform 1 rests, rotates and orients.

[0063] OY is the axis parallel to the ground surface, which points south.

[0064] OZ is the axis perpendicular to the ground surface along the vertical direction.

[0065] I...

Abstract

The tracker is formed by a structure (3) bearing a platform (1) carrying the solar panels (2) that varies both the azimuth and elevation orientation thereof in order to track the sun. This movement isachieved by means of two actuators (4) connected respectively to fixed points (P1o, P2o) on the ground and other vertices (P1, P2) of the platform (1), thereby causing the platform to rotate around acentral support point ''O'' of the same. The distances (D1, D2) between the points which join the actuators (4) have a one-to-one relation with the rotation angles (beta, alpha) of the platform (1) around both perpendicular axes: an oblique fixed axis (O-Gl) and another axis (O-Az) that angularly varies the inclination thereof with respect to the first.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a bi-directional solar tracker having significant relative characteristics and technical advantages over existing devices for generating electrical energy through solar panels. [0002] The main purpose of the present invention is to provide a support structure for a platform carrying solar panels to orient the platform towards the sun according to a novel form of movement, with a smooth and simple yet effective function. [0003] In the current field of developing renewable energy, there is a significant increase worldwide in solar energy installations using photovoltaic panels (solar panels), which convert solar energy into electrical energy. The installation of these panels is usually carried out on a fixed structure oriented towards the south with an inclination on the horizon depending on the latitude of the location. [0004] The electrical energy production of a panel depends on the actual characteristics of the p...
