Abstract

The invention provides a method, a device and a system for detecting bridge tap, belonging to the field of digital subscriber line (DSL), and aiming to solving the problem the existing technology of obtaining line topology through connecting the resent DSL to the multiplexer network computing is hard to be used practically due to tremendous calculated amount. In the embodiment of the invention detecting is carried out to obtain channel transfer function of the line between a transmitting terminal and a receiving terminal; the channel transfer function is used to calculate and obtain line topology comprising the length and the number of the main line and the bridge tap. In comparison with the calculated amout of the present detecting line topology, the calculated amount of the method of the invention is largely reduced, the computing speed is widely improved, and the accuracy is high and over 85% according to the practical detecting result. The embodiment of the invention is applied to realize the function of obtaining the length of line through using double terminal detecting to finish single terminal detecting.
