Abstract

The invention discloses an operating system kernel level real-time dongle monitoring device and a monitoring method thereof, which comprises a dongle module. The device is characterized in that the dongle module is arranged in a system kernel and carries out the operations of registration, canceling of the registration and reset of applications via kernel level drivers. The kernel dongle at least includes a timing module which is used for detecting whether each registered application is overtime when the time set in a timer is due; when the registered application is overtime, the dongle module starts a reset module to do the reset operation on the operating system; when the registered application is not overtime, the time set in the timing module continues to cycle; and when the time set in the timer is not due, the dongle module carries out corresponding operations according to the applications starting or canceling the registration module or resetting the module.
