[0090] Example 1: Distillation of Industrial CNSL

[0091] 1 liter of technical CNSL was placed in a round bottom flask equipped with a vacuum distillation unit. Add 3g zeolite and 2g TNPP depolymerizer and distill at 245-285°C for 30 minutes under 1 mm Hg vacuum. The distillate was collected in a flask, and the volume of the distillate containing DT-CNSL was measured. Yield: 729g.

The present invention relates to a biofuel composition comprising distilled technical cashew nut shell liquid (DT-CNSL) and at least one petroleum product optionally in combination with vegetable oils and fuel additives.
