Abstract

The invention discloses a system and a method for correcting brightness and chromaticity of an LED display screen point by point. The method comprises the steps of: (1) connecting a camera, a correcting processor and an LED display screen control system; (2) putting the correcting processor and the camera in the position of 30-50 meters front of the LED display screen, wherein the camera is just opposite to the LED display screen; (3) adjusting the focal length of the camera to a position capable of clearly imaging; (4) setting parameters of a data acquisition module in the correcting processor, wherein the parameters include lamp point intervals, lamp point distribution mode and partition scheme of the LED display screen; (5) starting automatic correction for acquiring brightness and chromaticity data of the LED display screen and calculating and generating point-to-point brightness and chromaticity correcting coefficients; and (6) sending the point-to-point brightness and chromaticity correcting coefficients to an LED display screen control system, and controlling the LED display screen for displaying by the control system according to the received correcting coefficients. The invention ensures the consistence of the lamp points of the LED display screen by carrying out point-to-point brightness and chromaticity correction on the LED display screen, improves the uniformity of the LED display screen, and ensures that the LED display screen has better color reducibility. By carrying out the point-to-point brightness and chromaticity correction on the LED display screen, the service life of the LED display screen body is effectively prolonged.
