Abstract

The invention discloses a backlight module. The backlight module comprises a light-emitting diode module which is divided into a plurality of light strings by a plurality of light-emitting diodes averagely; the break-over voltage of each light-emitting diode is between a minimal break-over voltage value and a maximal break-over voltage value; and each light string comprises at least one light-emitting diode and a second light-emitting diode; the first light-emitting diode has the minimal break-over voltage value; and the second light-emitting diode has the maximal break-over voltage value. Therefore, the backlight module can contribute to reducing the power consumption of a constant current control circuit.
