Embodiment 1

[0037] Firstly, this embodiment provides a method for updating mobile phone patches online, and the method is applied to the mobile phone terminal side. figure 2 is the overall flowchart of the method, such as figure 2 As shown, the method includes:

[0038] S201. Create a patch database on the terminal side, typically, the terminal may be a mobile terminal;

[0039] Optionally, S201 specifically includes: sending a registration request to the server; if the registration is successful, creating a patch database on the mobile phone side;

[0040] S202. Obtain an updated patch file list from the server, and the patch file list includes the identifier and storage path of each patch;

[0041] Optionally, S202 may include two situations, one is: periodically send a query request to the server, and obtain an updated patch file list from the server; the other is: receive a broadcast notification message sent by the server, and send the server a Send a query request to obtain an ...

Embodiment 2

[0068] Embodiment 1 is an introduction to the method and function of the terminal. This embodiment implements the method and function on the server side, and the method on the server side cooperates with the method on the terminal side to jointly realize the patch upgrade of the mobile phone.

[0069] This embodiment provides a method for updating mobile phone patches online, and the method is applied on the server side. Figure 8 is the overall flowchart of the method, such as Figure 8 As shown, the method includes:

[0070] S801. Create a patch database for at least one terminal on the server side;

[0071] Optionally, S801 includes: receiving a registration request sent by the terminal; if the registration is successful, creating a patch database for the terminal;

[0072] S802. Send a list of patch files that the terminal needs to update to at least one terminal, so that the terminal downloads the patch files according to the list of patch files, and the list of patch f...

Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a method and a device for updating terminal patches on line. The method comprises the following steps of: establishing a patch database on a terminal side; acquiring an updated patch file list from a server, wherein the patch file list comprises an identifier of each patch and a storage route thereof; downloading patch files according to the updated patch file list and storing the patch files into a local temporary directory; adding the downloaded patch files and the storage routes thereof into the patch database; and covering the original files in thestorage routes corresponding to the patch files by the patch files in the temporary directory. In the technical scheme of the embodiment, the terminal can update a software bug on line and a user does not need to update the whole system version of the terminal again; and at the same time, private data of the user is not lost during the repair of the software bug.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of communication technology, in particular to a method, device and system for updating terminal patches online. Background technique [0002] With the rapid development of electronic information technology and the continuous upgrading of electronic equipment, mobile phones have become an indispensable part of people's lives. The mobile phone is an embedded system, and more and more functions of the embedded system are implemented through software, and an upgrade is to update the software program in the mobile phone. The so-called online upgrade refers to the process of running the new version after updating the existing version with the new version through the interaction with the remote server when the system is running. [0003] The most common method at present is to connect the mobile phone to the computer, directly download the upgrade code through the upgrade interface (mostly USB interface) reserved in the mob...
