Embodiment Construction

[0032] A method for coating a sealant according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0033]Such as figure 1 with figure 2 As shown, the sealant coating machine adopting the sealant coating method according to the present invention includes a frame 10, a pallet 20, a pair of support moving guides 30, a head support 40, a head unit 50, and a control unit ( not shown). The pallet 20 is installed on the frame 10 , and the substrate S is placed on the pallet 20 . Support movement guides 30 are provided on opposite sides of the pallet 20 in such a manner as to extend in the Y-axis direction. The head support 40 is installed above the pallet 20 and extends in the X-axis direction in such a way that the opposite ends of the head support 40 are supported by a pair of support movement guides 30 . The head unit 50 is mounted to the head support 40 in a movable manner in the X-axis direction, and inc...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for applying paste. As the gap between a nozzle and a substrate measured at the start position of the applying on the substrate does not fall in the preset standard range, the nozzle is then disposed on the substrate at a preset position which is different from the start position of the applying, and the gap between the nozzle and the substrate is remeasured. Therefore, the invention can reduce time of sealing and applying paste, and increase productivity.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a sealant application method for applying a sealant to a substrate. Background technique [0002] In general, flat panel displays (FPDs) are video displays that are thinner and lighter than conventional televisions and monitors that use cathode ray tubes. Examples of FPDs that have been developed and used are liquid crystal displays (LCDs), plasma display panels (PDPs), field emission displays (FEDs), and organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs). [0003] Among them, the LCD is a display that independently supplies data signals based on image information to liquid crystal cells arranged in a matrix, thereby controlling light transmittance of the liquid crystal cells, thereby displaying desired images. Since the LCD has the advantages of thinness, lightness, low power consumption, and low operating voltage, it has been widely used. A method of manufacturing a liquid crystal panel generally used in an LCD will be described...
