Abstract

An IML product is formed and punched by one step in a combined die closing process. The combined die comprises an upper die part and a lower die part, wherein the upper die part consists of four guide sleeves, an upper formwork, a punch head fixing plate, a discharging plate and a punch head; a heating rod and a thermoelectric couple are embedded on the side faces of the punch head fixing plate respectively and connected with a control meter through an electric cable respectively; the lower die part consists of a lower formwork, a ball guide sleeve, four guide pillars, two base plates and a concave formwork; and two heating rods and one thermoelectric couple are embedded on the side faces of the punch head fixing plate respectively and connected with the control meter through the electric cable respectively. By the method, the punching qualification rate of the IML product is up to 90 percent; the production time of the product is shortened; and the production efficiency and the quality of the product are improved. The punching method is easy to operate and the product positioning is accurate, so the method meets requirement of large-scale mass production.
