Abstract

The invention discloses a vacuum pressurization apparatus for pouring electrolyte into a secondary battery and a method for pouring the electrolyte. The vacuum pressurization apparatus comprises: a vacuum pressurization chamber loaded with a plurality of secondary batteries and a loading rack, wherein a plurality of buffer hoppers respectively connected with the secondary batteries are arranged in the loading rack and the loading rack is arranged above the secondary batteries; a vacuum pump connected with the vacuum pressurization chamber and vacuumizing the inside of the vacuum pressurization chamber at the vacuum atmosphere; a pressure pump connected with the vacuum pump and for compressing the inside of the vacuum pressurization chamber. The vacuum pressurization chamber comprises: an upper chamber comprising a cylindrical main body part, a semi-sphere part extending upwards from the main body part and a sealing part extending downwards; a lower chamber being a circular plate shaped corresponding with the upper chamber. The sealing part comprises a first sealing surface contacting with the lower chamber and an air seal O-shaped ring is arranged on the first sealing surface. The electrolyte is poured into the secondary battery under the pressure and vacuum atmosphere in the vacuum pressurization chamber.
